Noon Hospice of Catawba Valley sponsors a grief support group. It meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral on Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard, SE, Hickory. 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. teen Mothers of Preschoolers meets each Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 311 Third Ave., NE, near the Catawba Valley Arts and Science Center. Mothers are encouraged to come straight from school, and child care is provided. The group's purpose is to provide a place for teen mothers to ask questions, vent frustrations and build friendships. 1 p.m. The Caregivers Support Group meets every other Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on U.S. 321 and West Thirteenth Street. The meeting is for those who are caregivers for the elderly, sick or disabled. It is an interfaith group, and care will be provided during the meeting for those adults accompanying caregivers.
3 p.m. Prayer and Positive Attitude Is Necessary Secret of Success (PAIN SOS) Club meets every third Wednesday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Women's Resource Center beside Frye Regional Medical Center.
